Additional information

All business entities ought to have a trading licence and a fire clearance certificate. Entities dealing with consumables must in addition have a health certificate and a food hygiene licence. An advertising signage licence is applicable for all entities with advertising signage (300mm by 600 mm or less) .It is a legal requirement that the trade licence be displayed in a conspicuous place. Licencee who fails to display the permit shall be guilty of an offense and liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred shillings.The licence is valid for one calendar year i.e from January to December.
